Job Description: We seek a motivated and talented Android Developer to join our growing team. As an Android Developer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers to develop cutting-edge mobile applications for the Android platform. Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Android development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
